Amongst the insanity of the holidays and the day-to-day needs of a family, my very own beauty regime has gone out of the window.

As I am sure you may have envisioned, I have been spending a reasonable period of time in sweatpants, and  house slippers.

But , last week I started out experiencing a little like I’d let myself go.

I realize at this stage is definitely momentary, but seeing photos of friends outfitted in sequins at holiday events made me want to appear more like my usual self too.

Considering that spending more than a few minutes in front of the mirror is an extravagance these days, I’ve been deciding on uncomplicated, fashionable hairstyles such as these one that take basically 30 seconds. If I haven’t showered in a few days, it’s not an issue.

I merely throw some of my preferred dry shampoo in there, pull my hair into a messy ponytail and I’m 50% completed!
